Blog 1266: Electronic Equipment

Please be aware that the use of mobile phones ,and any electronic equipment with a camera on it is banned on poolside.

This applies to all team galas and training sessions, however at Open Meets you are allowed to bring along an Mp3 player or games consol with no camera.

 If any swimmer is found in possession of any of these items, it will be confiscated and returned to their parent or guardian at the end of the session/gala.

Swimmers need to remember to respect other people’s property.  If anyone is found to, or is reported to have gained access to or interfered with any property without the swimmers permission, then this will result in disciplinary action.

Blog 1263: Jamie Rigby

A great performance from our swimmers on Saturday night at the fun trophy gala. I picked a team to give everyone a swim and with many of our top swimmers missing and a lot of the junior age group swimmers competing in a competition where older swimmers where there for the first time, this was great experience for everyone. With lots of PB's and improvement in skill levels everyone should be proud of there achievements. The open men nearly pulled off a clean sweep of events winning both relays and 3 out of 4 individuals with the 4th individual coming second. Keep working hard and keep being better today than you were yesterday.

Blog 1261: Training Camp 2013

The training camp has been agreed to be held between 15th Feb 2013 and 25th of Feb for 7 days in that period and we are going to a brand new facility at Feurteventura . It will cost around £700 and final bookings will be made prior to June 28th, so all deposits of £200 must be in by 23rd June 2012, for anyone wanting to add their name to the list. We have 14 swimmers down to go and for a first overseas camp this is great - DX only had 8 for theirs and now 30 plus swimmers are going with them on a regular basis.
